Sams been sucker free for almost 2 weeks and he's been doing a great job not asking for it at night or even when he's upset! We capitalized on the fact that he didn't have it at school for a week and then we've been bribing him with presents and cards from Santa. We told him that he gave his suckers to the babies via Santa and he feels so proud and like such a big boy! It's been much easier than we thought it would be but the biggest challenge has been that it takes him forever to go down for naps or bed at night. Before he would literally walk himself up to bed and the minute his head hit the pillow he'd be out. Now he demands the most ridiculous things and screams "MOMMY!!!!" Super loud it's hilarious. Tonight he demanded a blue ball, then a red ball, then his giant spaceship, a clementine and a refill on his water. Hopefully it will get better soon but we are very proud of what a big boy he is!
